Staying in Place Jurien Bay is a social enterprise that sits within a range of programs offered by the Jurien Bay Community Resource Centre. It will foster enduring client relationships for seamless ageing at home. We tailor services to unique needs, ensuring ongoing support. If you’re over 65 (or 50 for First Nations people) and facing challenges with home management or community engagement, you may qualify for a Home Care Package (HCP). We guide you through eligibility and the application process—discover how we can help you Stay In Place.
PERSONALISED CARE AND SUPPORT
Navigating the healthcare system and securing the necessary services to enable you to remain in your home can be confusing. We can work with you to –
- Plan for the future, ensuring your long-term needs and preferences are considered.
- Adapt to changing circumstances and needs, whether due to an acute health event or the unavailability of a friend or family member who was previously providing support.
The Staying In Place Jurien Bay Care Coordinator collaborates with you and your caregivers to find the right people to provide the services you require, based on your needs and package level. We will make sure that the people coming into your home and life best fit your requirements, personality and situation in life. We are passionate about personal connection, bespoke service and walking beside you in this journey of life.
Working with you
We work with you to navigate and apply for a Home Care Package. This service is free and confidential and can be done in the comfort of your home, or by appointment at our warm and welcoming Community Resource Centre, 67 Bashford Street, Jurien Bay.

What services can I access?
We offer a range of services tailored to meet your individual needs, including light housekeeping, gardening, social outings, transportation to appointments – both local and to major centres such as Perth and Geraldton, meal preparation and cooking, meal delivery, social support, as well as nursing and clinical care (*based on individual requirements).
